You are Responsible for Nearly 1,000 Traffic Fatalities

If you’ve recently driven along Illinois highways, you might have noticed on those expensive lit-up signs that there were nearly 1,000 traffic fatalities in 2012, presumably in Illinois. The message then goes on to tell us to drive more safely in 2013, implying that those still driving are responsible for those fatalities. It’s the same argument used to take our guns. Are we Borg, from the Star Trek television series?

We are just part of the collective? Interesting the messages that our government feeds us and most folks think they are public service messages when they are nothing but an attempt to change our attitudes and perspective.
