Zimmerman-Wilken Engaged

Allyson Zimmerman of Freeport and Joshua Wilken of German Valley, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. They are children of Kathy Zimmerman and the late Ronald Zimmerman of Shannon, IL and Lyle and Penny Wilken of Forreston, IL.

The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Eastland High School. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 2011. She currently attends Black Hawk College for Physical Therapy Assistant and is employed part-time at FHN.

The future groom, a 2005 graduate of Forreston High School, graduated from Highland Community College in 2008 with his Associates of Applied Science. He is employed as an automotive technician at Don’s Repair in German Valley.

Kendell Kristine Casper

Brian and Emily Casper, Plainfield, welcomed a new daughter, Kendell Kristine on November 13. She weighted 7 lbs., 6 oz. and was 21 inches long.

Grandparents are Bryan and Kristine Hardacre, Lanark and Harold and Linda Casper, Mukwonago, WI.

Great grandparents are Dick and Janet Gruhn, Blaine and Elinor Hardacre, all of Lanark; and Edith Vickers, Darlington, WI.

Great great grandparent is Paul Diffenderfer, Lanark.
