11-25-12 at 11:40 am - Skylar A. Cantu, age 18 of Sterling, was arrested on (4) outstanding Whiteside County Warrants; Consumption of Liquor, No Valid Driver’s License, Knowingly Damage Property less than $500, and Aggravated Battery. He was remanded to the Whiteside County Jail and Sterling Police Department assisted on scene.
12-04-12 at 11:08 am - Kenneth P. Green, age 28 of Sterling, was arrested on a Whiteside County Warrant for Theft/Unauthorized Control. He was remanded to the Whiteside County Jail.
12-07-12 at 12:20 pm - Sheriff’s deputies responded to a semi-tractor trailer roll-over crash on private property east of Morrison involving minor injuries. Virgil A. Bush, age 70 of Morrison, was attempting to dump gravel when the trailer flipped over trapping him inside the semi. Morrison Fire and Morrison EMS also responded and assisted in removing Virgil from the vehicle. No citations pending.
12-08-2012 at 7:45 am - Blaze M Hollaway, age 20 of Rock Falls was arrested near the intersection of Route 40 and Thome Road for DUI, Criminal Trespass to Real Property and Criminal Trespass to Vehicle. He was processed and released with a Notice to Appear. Rock Falls Police assisted on scene.
12-08-12 at 3:34 pm - A traffic stop on IL Route 84 at IL Route 136 for no front plate lead to the arrest of Eric J. Maloney, age 23 of Fulton. Eric was cited for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Operating with Expired Registration. He received a written warning for Failure to Notify Secretary of State for an address change as well as No Front Registration Plate.
12-08-2012 at 5:45 am - James E Bruketta, age 34 of Dixon was arrested on Melvin Drive in Rock Falls for Violation of an Order of Protection. He was transported to Whiteside County Jail and held pending a court appearance for the violation.
12-09-12 at 5:15 pm - Whiteside County Deputies responded to a single vehicle roll-over crash on IL Route 84 north of Fulton. Corey J. Rock, age 24 of Fulton, stated he was texting when he lost control and entered the west ditch. His vehicle traveled some distance before it struck a tree and flipped over. Corey refused treatment on scene and was subsequently arrested for (2) counts of DUI. He was processed at the Fulton Police Department and released with a Notice to Appear. Thomson Fire, Thomson EMS, Fulton Police, and Midwest Collision assisted deputies.
