Two Illinois Farm Bureau membership benefits will be coming back for 2012. Great Wolf Lodge in the Wisconsin Dells is again offering standard suites for $129.95 on Sunday through Thursday nights and $159.95 on Friday and Saturdays. They also offer 20% off their best condo suites rates. Included in your stay is admission to their waterpark. What a great way to get away for a few days this winter. The other membership discount that is back for 2012, is the exclusive $500 bonus cash to Farm Bureau members from Ford. Members get $500 Bonus Cash savings off of vehicle MSRP toward the purchase or lease of any eligible new 2011/2012/2013 Ford or Lincoln vehicle. Contact your dealer to verify the vehicle you are purchasing is eligible. There are only 6 models that are not included in the program. You do need to be a Farm Bureau member in good standing for 60 days in order to take advantage of this program.

If you have not registered for the Northern Illinois Farm Bureau Bowling Tournament, you still have time. Registration is due by Friday, January 13th. The bowling tournament will take place at Forest Hills Lane in Rockford. Divisions are determined by age and range from under 12 to 65 plus.

People over the age of 40 are encouraged to get tested, especially those with one or more of the following risk factors: high blood pressure, diabetes, more than 20 pounds overweight, a smoker, high cholesterol, inactive lifestyle, or have a family medical history of heart disease or stroke.

Stroke Detection Plus will be screening at Carroll County Farm Bureau, 811 S. Clay St, in Mt. Carroll, from 9-4:30, on Friday January 20th.

A complete wellness profile, all 4 screenings is $135, or you can select individual tests at just $45 each. Farm Bureau Members receive all 4 screenings for only $100.
