Dec. 16th

Philip Cooke Bishop was charged in Carroll County with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, DUI with a BAC of .08, Transporting Liquor, Failing to Reduce Speed, and Not Displaying a Registration Plate / Decal.

Dec. 17th

Ronald S. Bork was charged in Shannon with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Failing to Reduce Speed, and Driving Without a License.

Jorge L. Rodriguez-Cabrel was charged in Savanna with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, DUI with a BAC of .08, Driving on a Suspended License, Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, and Disregarding an Official Traffic Control Device.

Carl R. Carte of Savanna pled guilty in Savanna on December 16th of Battery and Making Physical Contact, was fined and ordered to undergo supervision and alcohol treatment.

Steven N. Solverson of Rockford was found guilty ex parte on December 20th of Unlawfully Taking Wildlife From Public Land and fined.

City of Morrison

Arrests

Dec. 12th

Davette McClenon, age 39 of Sterling, was arrested pursuant to an Arrest Warrant issued by Whiteside County charging McClenon with Failure to Appear – Forgery. McClenon was escorted to the Whiteside County Jail.

Dec. 13th

Tyson J. Venema, age 29 of Morrison, was arrested pursuant to an Order of Commitment issued by Whiteside County regarding a case with RRCA Accounts Management as the Plaintiff. Venema posted the required bond and was released.

Dec. 15th

Morrison Police responded to 705 West Wall Street for a report of a Battery taking place involving a sword. As a result of the investigation conducted, Morrison Police arrested Damon R. Starr, age 21 of Morrison, charging Starr with Aggravated Battery and Unlawful Use of Weapon. Starr was transported to the Whiteside County Jail.

Dec. 16th

Morrison Police responded to Sullivan’s Foods, 300 N. Madison Street for a report of Retail Theft. As a result of the investigation conducted, Morrison Police arrested Timothy R. Rippy, age 51 of Rock Falls, charging Rippy with Retail Theft. Rippy was transported to the Whiteside County Jail where he was processed and released on a Notice to Appear with a court date of January 23, 2012.
