Hanover Legend Bill Wolter Honored With Scoreboard Dedication

The late William “Bill” Wolter of Hanover, Illinois was honored and immortalized by having a scoreboard at the Hanover Park District in Hanover dedicated to him on Thursday, February 14th at the Park District.
A brief ceremony took place, with Kristy Wolter speaking to Bill’s dedication and unwavering support of both Hanover and the Hanover Township Park District. Several family members, friends and Park District members were on hand, including Denise Wolter, Kristy Wolter, Jodi Wolter, Riley Wolter, Ray Wolter and wife Irene Wolter. Also present were Bob Gable, Kathy Gable, Stevie Gable, Nellie Bainbridge, Peggy Kemp and Mark Wachter.
