‘Music & Magic’ Returns to Savanna

Music and Magic is coming to Savanna in April! Alan St. George will again host an entertaining and extraordinary weekend April 26th, 27th, 28th at the Alan and Adrianne St. George Center for the Arts, 800 Chicago Avenue.

Through much coordination with the performers very busy schedules, Alan St. George has planned an exciting musical/magical weekend for everyone to enjoy. A charitable event, he will donate proceeds to The Savanna Historical Society and Adrianne’s Angels St. George Pet Rescue.

Those who have attended previous music and magic shows were delighted with the illusions of Joel Ward, a world class magician from the west coast. Joel, returning by popular demand, always pleases with his high energy, fast paced performances involving ropes, scarves, cards and disappearing live doves. David Sandy, MO. and Lance Rich, also from MO., each offer their unique styles of entertainment with music and creative illusions. Michael S. Dunavant, recently residing in Boston, MA., returns to delight us with his rich tenor voice. And, Talia Marie Aull, NY. will charm guests with her expressive vocal talent.

Performing both singly and as a duet, Michael and Talia will amaze theatergoers.” said St. George. “Their youth, charisma and stage presence will impress everyone in the audience.”

Family friendly, the guests will present new material, as well as a few requested illusions. Audiences of all ages will enjoy the full evening of music and magic that sure to delight everyone. Where DID those doves go???? How did he levitate that girl from the audience????

Performances will be held Friday and Saturday evenings and a matinee performance will be Sunday afternoon. Free popcorn and beverages will be served during intermission. Curtain time for the evening performances will be 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $22 for preferred seating, $17 for general admission seating. Children under the age of 18, in the general seating section are $12. The Theatre is not handicapped accessible. No strollers are allowed.
