Mildred M. Foht, age 90, of Hanover, Illinois died Monday, March 1, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque, Iowa. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hanover with Father Noel Jacob as Celebrant. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Hanover. Visitation will be from 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2011 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Hanover with a Rosary Service held at 7:00 p.m.

Harold Ernest Bork

Harold Ernest Bork, age 81, of Lanark, Illinois passed away at home. He was found resting in peace March 1, 2011. There will be no services per Harold’s request.

Fred E. Smith, age 81 of Savanna, Illinois, died on March 5, 2011 at Big Meadows Nursing Home, Savanna. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 10, 2011 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna with Reverend Floyd West officiating. Burial will take place in the Spring Lake Cemetery, Savanna, Illinois. A visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Fred’s memory.
