Lance Rich joins the very talented cast of magicians and singers who will be performing at The Alan and Adrianne St. George Center for the Arts at 800 Chicago Avenue on May 4, 5, and 6th.
Originally from Leitchfield, Kentucky, Lance has been performing since he was five! He got his start performing shows in his family living room. His first public performance was a magic show for his Boy Scout troupe at age 7, and he hasn’t stopped since. At an early age Lance nurtured talents first in music then in magic, eventually combining the skills. Today Lance works with professionals in both fields to create a unique and entertaining product mixing pop music and illusion. For three seasons he performed more than 200 shows a year at Beech Bend Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky as a singer, dancer, and magician. He has also grown up on stage as a singer and actor at the Pine Knob Theatre. For 10 years Lance produced and hosted an annual magic show in his hometown to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. In that time over $30,000 was raised for the charity which Lance continues to support. As a creative producer, Lance enjoys creating effects, events and entertainment for theatrical, concert and corporate applications.
Recently, he has worked with the Symphonic Pops Consortium as a magic consultant for Mysterioso, a magic-themed Pops symphonic concert presented by symphony orchestras across North America. He has also worked with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra for the last two years as a consultant for Duke Energy’s Yuletide Today.
Lance’s talents range from initial concept design to production management and implementation. Entertainment is a passion for Lance and his unbridled creativity and commitment to detail is the result. Audiences are sure to enjoy Lance’s presentations that showcase his talents and creativity.
