Silent Auction to Benefit Carroll County Senior Services Organization
The Carroll County Senior Services Organization (CCSSO) Board of Directors first-ever Silent Auction fundraiser was a huge success, according to CCSSO Director Bev Atherton.
“To the best of my calculations, cash donations from 18 agencies totaled $2225.
68 Gift cards and 50 items raised $3051. The total raised was $5276.
“Support was given throughout the county,” Atherton said. “Thank You to all who supported the Senior Center and Silent Auction.”
Proceeds will be used for the recent renovation of the Senior Center. Offices at the Senior Center were recently updated to provide for client confidentiality and privacy.
The Senior Center is located at 306 N. Main Street, Mount Carroll. The Carroll County Senior Services Organization Board of Directors
