The opportunity to be your own boss, make money, and stay home all day can look very attractive. Learn what the steps are to create
your own home based business and determine if its right for you at the Thursday, May 7th workshop "Is a Home Based Business Knocking on
Your Door?" The program will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Heritage Center in Lanark.
Workshop speakers include Brian Borger and Michele Miller, Small Business Development Center at Highland Community College and Sauk
Valley Community College. The workshop will conclude with entrepreneurs sharing their life experiences in starting and running their home based businesses.
As a workshop bonus, each attendee will be provided a business start up guide and reference materials.
The Illinois State Library LSTA Grant is underwriting the cost of this workshop allowing us to wave a normal workshop fee. Registrations for
