Michael P. Rivera

Michael P. Rivera, age 72, of Hanover, Illinois, formerly of Savanna, Illinois died Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at his home after a brave battle against cancer. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hanover, with Father Noel Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in Log Church Cemetery, Hanover.

Gervace W. Law, age 90, of Lake Carroll, Illinois passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home. A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2011 at the Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Mt. Carroll. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Mt. Carroll. Visitation will be held 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2011 at the funeral home. Memorials may be given in memory to Carroll County Relay For Life and the Trinity Lutheran Church.
