The Carroll County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of a John Deere Gator from Curtis and Son's dealership on the east edge of Lanark. Sometime prior to Saturday May 24, 2008, unknown subjects entered the lot next to the business and took a new John Deere Gator. This Gator is an XUV 6201 model 4X4 utility ATV with a small box for hauling in the rear. It is painted John Deere green and yellow. Loss exceeds $9000.00. Persons having any information about this crime, or the location of a wanted felon should contact Crime Stoppers at 244- STOP (244-7867).
