60 Years Celebrated by Elizabeth Couple

Allen and Catherine Van Brocklin of Elizabeth, Illinois will observe their sixtieth wedding anniversary on June 1, 2012.

Allen and the former Catherine Butt were united in marriage in 1952 at the Cherry Grove Church of the Brethren in Lanark, Illinois by Reverend Merle Hawbecker.

The couple has four children: John (Cindy), Mt. Carroll, Illinois; Willie (Anita), Elizabeth, IL; Eddie (Kathy), Mt. Carroll; and Kevin, also of Elizabeth.

They have eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

An Open House for the couple is planned at the Farm Bureau building, Rt. 64 & 78, Mt. Carroll on Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 1:00 to 4:00 in the afternoon. The couple requests gifts be omitted.

Chadwick Couple Celebrate 10Th Wedding Anniversary

Daniel and Jade Nardini, both residents of Chadwick, Illinois, will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary on May 18th. The couple got married in Seoul, South Korea in 2002, and Jade came to the United States on April 19, 2004 to join her husband.

Wolber, Waller Welcome New Daughter

Heidi Wolber and Jeremy Waller of Coleta, Illinois are the proud parents of a new daughter, Josey Lane Waller, born on Tuesday, May 8, 2012. Josey joins three siblings at home.

Maternal grandparents are Polly Kelsey and Ray Hutchison of Milledgeville. Paternal grandparents are Dennis and Kathy Waller of Chadwick.

Bausman Graduates from MIT

On April 28, 2012, Morrison Institute of Technology held their spring graduation at the Morrison Institute of Technology auditorium, Morrison, IL. The graduate’s family and friends along with the faculty and staff attended the ceremony. Among those graduating was Devin Bausman, son of Toby and Beth Bausman of Lanark. Devin graduated Magna Cum Laude with a cumulative grade point average of 3.83. He made the Dean’s List with a semester grade point average of 3.89. Devin received the Construction Technology Award.
