"Jesse" Dylan Connor Anthony Zimmerman, 6 Mt. Carroll, IL died Thursday, September 10, 2009 in Morrison Community Hospital. Born May 5, 2003 in Freeport, IL., the son of Heather Zimmermann and Allen W. Clement. He attended first grade at Primary West Carroll in Savanna, IL. He lived in Mt. Carroll for three months moving from Oregon, IL.

Survivors include mother, Heather Zimmermann, Mt. Carroll, IL; father, Allen (Tina) Clement, Oregon, IL; sister, Angel Zimmermann, Mt. Carroll, IL.

Funeral Service at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Finch Funeral Home, with Rev. Jerry Martz and Rev. Elizabeth Mascal officiating. Visitation is prior to service from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Memorial to be established.

Wayne F. Ellinor

Wayne F. Ellinor, 82, of Lanark, Illinois passed away September 10, 2009 at the Good Samaritan Center in Mount Carroll, IL.

He was born April 18, 1927 in Washington Township near Savanna, Illinois to Frank Ellinor and Amelia (Miller) Ellinor.

He is survived by his wife, Maurine (McFadden) Ellinor of fifty years; Leanne (Ron) Alhorn Cambridge, IL, Linda (Jay) Allen, Earlville, IL, Martha (Alan) Rogers, Shannon, IL, Brad Ellinor Lanark, IL, Barry (Kelly) Ellinor Freeport, IL, Connie (Mike) Zuck, Shannon, IL, Kayla (Don) Fosler, Plymouth, IN, and Carleen (Willie) McKee, Warren, IL; seventeen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lois (McDonnell) Ellinor and sister Betty Jane who died at birth.

Wayne graduated from Lanark High School, Lanark, IL and farmed for 65 years in the Lanark area. He was a member of the Carroll County Farm Bureau , Carroll County Country Couples, Pearl City CO-OP, AMPI, Pure Milk Association, Trinity Lutheran Church in Lanark, IL, Lanark Chamber of Commerce, and was an Asgrow Hybrid Seed salesman.

Wayne enjoyed farming and his family, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as well as dancing, playing cards, and being with friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept 14, at 10:30 a.m. at the Lanark Church of the Brethren with Pastor John Sgro officiating. Burial will be in the Lanark City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 Sunday, Sept 13 at the Russell-Frank Funeral Home in Lanark.

A memorial has been established in Wayne’s memory.

Jean L. Coultas, age 83, of Freeport, Illinois formerly of Chadwick, Illinois, died Monday, September 14, 2009 at Provena St. Joseph Center, Freeport. Cremaition rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be in the Chadwick Cemetery, Chadwick on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimers Association, 4777 E. State St., Rockford, Illinois 61108 in Jean’s memory.

Jane E. Rogers

Jane E. Rogers, age 94, of Savanna, Illinois, died Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Mt. Carroll, Illinois. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2009 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Savanna with Father Dennis Atto as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Savanna. Visitation will be held 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home with a Rosary at 4:30 p.m.

Betty I. Bailey

Betty I. Bailey, age 87, of Savanna, Illinois, died Friday, September 18, 2009, at Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clinton, Iowa. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna. Burial will take place in the Lost Mound Cemetery, rural Hanover, Illinois. A memorial gathering will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Argo Fay United Methodist Church in Betty’s memory.

Erma Nell Brandt

Erma Nell Brandt, age 79, of Elizabeth, Illinois, died on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at the Elizabeth Nursing Facility. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 5, 2009 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Elizabeth, with Reverend Harvey Nicholson officiating. Burial will take place in the Elizabeth Cemetery. A Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be given to the family in Erma’s memory.

Todd Alan Bryant

Todd Alan Bryant, age 43, formerly of Chadwick, Illinois passed away surrounded by his family and friends on August 13, 2009 following a two-year battle with cancer.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Mount Carroll, Illinois with a Remembrance Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., following the gathering at the funeral home. Pastor Rick Koch of the Dutchtown Church of the Brethren, rural Milledgeville, Illinois will officiate.
