Shellhause celebrates Golden Wedding Anniversary

LANARK—Steve & Faye (Sweitzer) Shellhause will be celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary on June 25th.

They were united in marriage on June 25, 1961 at Cherry Grove Church of the Brethren by the Rev. Merle Hawbecker.

Steve and Faye are currently farming in the Lanark area and have three children: Deb (friend Scott), Steve (Susan), Todd (Gina) all living in the Lanark area. They have six grandchildren: Josh (Angie) Zuck of Leaf River, Ryan Zuck of Shannon, Jared, Levi, Austin, and Hanna Shellhause, all of Lanark. One great grand-daughter, Ella Zuck of Leaf River.

They will have a private family dinner.

Schuberts Welcome New Daughter

Chad and Amy Schubert of Shannon, IL welcome a new daughter, Lauren Irene, born on Monday, June 13, 2011 at Monroe Clinic Hospital in Monroe, WI. Lauren joins two sisters, Madison Rae, age 4 and Kailyn Faith, age 2.

Grandparents are Rod and Doris Tempel of Lanark, and Kirk and Cindy Schubert of Freeport. Great grandparents are John and Marilyn Gibbs of Freeport, Elaine Barthel of Freeport, Kenneth Barthel of Galena and Gary and Lorraine Schubert.

Schoenys Welcome New Daughter

Bryan and Chelsea Schoeny of Shannon are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Audrey Marie, born on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport, IL.

Grandparents are Kent and Julie Schoeny of Shannon and Brian and Dawn Barr also of Shannon. Great grandparents are Marlis Kapfenstein of Lanark, Gerald and Jane Schoeny of Shannon, James and Elizabeth Slick of Freeport and Ted and Harriet Haight also of Freeport.
