Harold William “Bud” Rogers, age 92 of Mt. Carroll, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Rockford Memorial Hospital, Rockford, Illinois. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2011 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mt. Carroll with Reverend Elizabeth Mascal officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Mt. Carroll. Military Rites will be accorded by the Mt. Carroll American Legion Post #67. Visitation will be held 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2011 at the Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Mt. Carroll. A memorial fund has been established in Harold’s memory.

Dorothy L. Bollen, age 97, of Savanna, Illinois died Sunday, September 25, 2011 at the Carroll County Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Mt. Carroll, Illinois. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Law-Jones Funeral Home. Burial will be in Savanna Township Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. till the time of the service at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna.

Emil F. Bellich, 89, of Thomson, Illinois, died Friday, September 30, 2011, at his home in Thomson. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at the Law – Jones Funeral Home in Thomson, with a rosary service held at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fulton, Illinois. Burial, with full military rites, will follow the Mass. Memorials may be directed to Mercy Hospice, Clinton, Iowa, or to the York Township Library in Emil’s memory.

Clarence “Bud” W. Reed, 93, died Saturday, October 1, 2011 at CGH Medical Center. Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Reverend Mark Oehlert, officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 PM, October 4, 2011 at the Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling. A memorial has been established.
