Lanark couple celebrates Golden Anniversary

Dick and Janet Gruhn of Lanark will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary April 16th with a family dinner. Dick Gruhn and the former Janet Diffenderfer were married April 16, 1961 at First Brethren Church in Lanark. The Rev. Ray Aspinall officiated. Dick is retired from Kelly Springfield Tire Co. and Janet from Eastland Elementary School. They have six children Kristine (Bryan) Hardacre, Kirt (Cathy) Gruhn, Elaine (Jeff) Gallentine all of Lanark, Roderic (Beverly) Gruhn of Milledgeville, Francine (Robert) Smith of Morrison and Brent Gruhn, deceased. They have 15 grandchildren.
