Joseph E. Kendall Jr., age 76 of Lanark, Illinois died on Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Carroll County Good Samaritan, Mount Carroll. Cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, January 16, 2012 at the Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Mount Carroll. A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m., Monday, January 16, 2012, prior to the service at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.

Lonnie Westmorland, age 81 of Savanna, Illinois died on Monday, January 9, 2012 at Big Meadows Nursing Home, Savanna. A home going service will take place at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at the New Unity Deliverance and Worship Center, Savanna with Bishop James A. Wade and Apostle Lornell Grayson officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m., prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place in the Rock Island Arsenal National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois.

William (Bill) L Gilman, 85, of Savanna, was called home to the Lord in Phoenix, AZ on Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Cremation rites were accorded. A celebration of Bill’s life will be January 21, 2012 at 10:30am at St. John’s Catholic Church in Savanna.
