Diehls Welcome New Daughter

Tony and Kayla Diehl of Lanark welcomed home a new daughter, Lily SueAnn Meier Diehl, born on Monday, March 14, 2011 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport. Lily joins a sister, Violet, age 2, at home.

Grandparents are Keith Brinkmeier of Pearl City, Terry and Karen Diehl of Forreston and Alan and Carmen Schadewaldt of Rock City. Great grandparents are Paul and Norma Meier of Shannon, Harland and Lola Mae Diehl of Freeport, Ruth Lower and the late Clarence Lower of Freeport and Ruth and the late Martin Brinkmeier. Great-great grandmother is Viola Pfund of Mt. Carroll.

Savanna Couple to Celebrate 50th

Louise and Konrad Radke of Savanna look forward to celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary on March 26, 2011.

Thelma Louise Helle and and Konrad Radke said their vows in front of the Reverends William Kendall and James McFarland in Savanna, Illinois.

The couple are now semi-retired and operating Quality Water, a family water and water conditioning business in their hometown and boasts having 22 grandchildren.

The couple plans on hosting a private dinner on Saturday, March 26th with brothers and sisters and some members of their wedding party at Rafters in Lena.

An Open House will be held later in the summer, August 6, 2011, for family and friends.
